Anglers who achieve the remarkable feat of landing a 30-pound (or 110 cm+) salmon earn membership in the exclusive 30-Pounder Club. Those landing a 20-pounder are awarded the coveted 20-Pounder Club badge, while the rare few who join the 30-Pounder Club receive a distinguished golden badge.
To commemorate this extraordinary achievement, Icelandic watchmaker JS Watch, in collaboration with designer Nils Folmer Jørgensen, has created a special edition “30-Pounder Laxá” timepiece. This exclusive watch is based on their renowned Sif NART model, originally designed for the Icelandic Coast Guard, and is waterproof to an impressive depth of 1,000 meters.
To qualify for this prestigious watch, you’ll need to catch a verified 30-pound salmon, provide two witnesses, a photo showing the measurement tape on the fish, and a picture of yourself with your catch.
